SERIES: Black is the Colour of My True Love's Hair

Visible invisibility. The seen but not seen. This collection is about looking and the female gaze. I use my work as a form of resistance. They are interventions to disrupt viewing patterns. The eye is lead into labrynth games as the viewer chases and follows the maze of lines across surfaces. Playful yet quietly subversive, I would describe them as spaces for dreaming and escape. Spaces to get lost in.
